Our restaurant is located in the very center of the city. The restaurant can be found within the Hotel Strauss. We are open to regional citizens as well es hospitality guests. We offer you an exceptional Franconian dining experience as well as a variety of international classics. The cooking with seasonal specialties such as Franconian asparagus, chanterelles, lamb, venison, goose, and duck is obligatory. The French weeks make the menu complete. Please do also ask for special offers and menus for elderly people. Parties of up to 70 people are affectionately welcome with advance notification.

Indeed, the fifth generation by now. Christian Wolz started his career as a chef with his apprenticeship at the well-known “Käfer, gourmet food” in Munich. In the follow up he gathered knowledge in the regional gourmet cuisine at a variety of renowned restaurants. Until today he has led the restaurant “Christian’s” for almost twenty years.
